The new Barryvox S is a digital/analog combo device with three antennas that offers users a large, simple interface and intuitive operation. It has a large receiving bandwidth and an effective search strip width of 70 meters, making it easier for search and rescue operations.

The Smart Search function provides clear instructions thanks to a simple operating concept and quick, precise searching. In addition, the Barryvox S includes the Rescue SEND function to protect non-searching rescuers. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the device automatically switches to SEND in order to locate buried rescuers.

Furthermore, the Barryvox S is equipped with a Smart Search function that interacts with the actions of searching rescuers, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the device. Its effective digital search strip width is 70 meters, with a digital receiving range of the same distance. The extended search range includes an extended receiving bandwidth (analog) of up to 95 meters, and an extended search strip width (analog) of 100 meters, providing a wider coverage area.

Moreover, the device features a circular receiving field, offering an almost identical receiving range for X and Y antennas. This contributes to a more balanced and accurate search and rescue process.

The Barryvox S is lithium-enabled, meaning it also works with lithium batteries. This brings several advantages, including a reduced risk of leakage, improved stability in low temperatures, and a longer battery life of 350 hours in SEND mode.
